Key takeaways

  • Just breathe..
  • Take a break – if you don’t have time for a break, you need a break.
  • Calm your mind
  • Awareness is key – what am I doing and why?
  • Be kind to yourself
  • It’s not me, it’s you
  • Value connections – surround yourself with your crew
  • Know your limits and set your boundaries
  • What are my non-negotiables?
  • Don’t prioritise what’s on your schedule, schedule your priorities.
  • Plan for disasters – what are your triggers?
  • When difficulties arise (as they often will), you need to re-anchor
